There are more ways to put designs on your nails than you can shake a stick at. You can use regular nail polish. There are also art pens, nail art striping polishes, decals, stickers, rhinestones, dangles. I would stay away from trying to do it with water colors, as you won't be able to put a top coat over them without ruining the design. They do have special fine brushes if you want to hand paint the designs.

They have special kinds of nail polish that you can find at like CVS and rite aid even markets but it has a much smaller brush thing so that you can paint smaller designs.
